This privacy policy describes how we handle information in connection with the Easy WhatsApp Contact Export Chrome extension (“Extension”) and this website (“Site”). We do not require you to create an account or sign in to use the Extension.

2. Information the Extension Uses

The Extension runs in your browser and interacts only with the WhatsApp Web interface you already have open. It reads contact data that WhatsApp Web exposes in that session (such as names and phone numbers) solely to generate export files (e.g. CSV, VCF, JSON) that you choose to download. Export files are created and saved on your device only; we do not receive, store, or transmit your contact list or export data.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

  • Your contact lists, phone numbers, or export file contents
  • Personal identification (e.g. name, email, address) unless you voluntarily provide it (e.g. when contacting us)
  • Account credentials for WhatsApp or any other service

4. Website and Extension Distribution

This Site may use standard web technologies (e.g. cookies, local storage) where necessary for functionality. The Extension is distributed through the Chrome Web Store; your use of the Extension is also subject to Google’s policies and the permissions described in the Chrome Web Store listing. We do not sell your data.

5. Third Parties

We do not share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing. If we use third-party services (e.g. hosting, analytics), their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies. The Extension does not send your contact or export data to our servers or to third parties.

You can stop using the Extension at any time and remove it from your browser. Export files on your device remain under your control.
