1. Acceptance

By installing the Easy WhatsApp Contact Export Chrome extension (“Extension”) or using this website (“Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension or the Site.

2. Description of Service

The Extension allows you to export contact information visible in your WhatsApp Web session (e.g. names, phone numbers) into file formats such as CSV, VCF, JSON, or others, for your own backup or workflow purposes. The Site provides information about the Extension and links to install it. We do not guarantee that the Extension will work with all versions of WhatsApp Web or all browsers, and we may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Extension and Site only in a lawful manner. You must not:

  • Use the Extension or Site to violate any applicable law or third-party rights
  • Use the Extension to harvest, scrape, or distribute contact data for spam, unsolicited marketing, or other abusive purposes
  • Reverse-engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the Extension in a way that violates our or any third party’s rights
  • Attempt to circumvent any access controls or usage limits of the Extension or Site

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Extension or Site if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms.

4. No Affiliation

Easy WhatsApp Contact Export is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp, Meta, or Google. WhatsApp and related marks belong to their respective owners. Use of WhatsApp and WhatsApp Web is subject to their terms and policies.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension and Site are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Extension or Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You use them at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (and our contributors, licensors, and affiliates) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Extension or Site. Our total liability for any claims related to the Extension or Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or zero if you have not paid anything). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Your Data and Export Files

Export files generated by the Extension are created and stored on your device. You are responsible for securing and backing up your data. We are not responsible for loss or corruption of export files or contact data on your side.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the Extension or Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you should stop using the Extension and the Site.

9. General

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Extension and Site. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them without restriction.
